OK Folks, my fourth figure, The Hunter. I wanted this guy to have a slightly maniacal look about him. Sort of happy in his work. Opinions, critiques, ways of making the next one better, all welcome.
Firstly, some pics of how I made the figure..
Next, the finished item...
Over to you...

Amazing... this is DML figure converted, right? It just shows how these figures can look in talented hands. Great!

A truly jaw-dropping achievement with this figure. Was it a conversion as Mario said? In any case you've got exactly the look you were trying to convey. The only thing I wonder about is the brown bits on the parka and the trousers- is that supposed to be mud? If it is it looks a bit dry yet the scene is a snowy one- I reckon if he had mud on him in that setting some of it would look a bit more wet than it does.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Yes, it is a DML conversion, from the Kharkov Panzergrenadiers set. I also used a few Gen2 bits and Aber buckles. Hornet head of course. Groundwork was scratched.
Karl, I based it on some pictures from the 3rd battle of Kharkov where there was snow on the ground, but the troops were literally covered in dried mud. I think it was from one of the Osprey series, I'll have to look it up.
All the best,
Gary

Wow, the figures you guys are posting here are making my life much too complicated. How I am going to compete at shows with my meager figure building skills is beyond me? Absolutely stunning use of your talents man! Exquisite work
