Quick question, why did you make the brake chamber guards from evergreen instead of using the supplied photoetch?

Thanks Seb !!

@ Richard, The PE parts looks too thin, so i put an overcoat of 25/100 plastic sheet on the PE part to obtain a correcrt look.

Pascal,
Nice hydraulic lines. I am looking forward to that work once I get my Buffalo. Your detail work will challenge those that decide to post their work on Armorama. Please post more pictures.

Hi Pascal,

Are you using soldering wire for the hydraulics lines? Is there any detail or pic for the digger?

Thanks

Sebastian

Yes I use soldering wire.

And yes you can find some good pics from internet; Robert Skipper aka 18 Bravo is selling CD pics with many good references tips.

I use them for all my MRAP builds; Feel free to contact him

I think their Rhino looks vastly undersized. If this is the same as the one released for the Humvee then its much smaller than everything else on the market. Rest of the set looks good though.

Pascal,

I know you said earlier that you had constructed new front brake chambers for your Buffalo, but have you tried out the news one included with your Blast Models update set? I just recieved mine set yesterday, and the brake chambers are too big to fit between the front leaf springs and the steering knuckles.

Just curious if you have this same issue with your set.

Thank you,

Shaun

@ Rob the rhino is the same size as the one for the Humvee.
The engine hood grille is not better than the one provided in the kit (with minor modifications)

@ Shaun.
If the brake chambers are "correct" , the positions from the bars (with red arrow) are not placed corretly in the notice. The assembling looks like this :

Pascal,

My eyes are open now! I was trying to install the chambers on the axle instead of the steering linkage. Thanks for the pictures and the help!

I don't know a thing about the Buffalo, but after viewing and reading Pascals work here I need to get this kit anyway. It's only money, right?

I also may not go to the extreme as we see here, but this vehicle is so intense and so large too! I need a modern vehicle on my shelf ... NOW!!

So, thanks for all the pictures Pascal and I don't have to tell ya that you're doing great work here! It really shows.

Looking good! What color did you use for painting the model?
