Chris- that interior is really something. I love the blue around the front seat frames and dash, it adds a nice bit of color to things. The ripped effect you've generated on the seats is also a revelation, it looks awesome and the weathering is just spot on. Will you be adding a bit of dust to the interior? Figures look great too- what is to be the story with them?
I'm currently trying to gather all sorts of bits and pieces to make some Iraqi figures to go with my BTR-50PK- I wish there was a few more Arab/Middle East crew and figure sets to choose from!

If you don't mind me asking, how did you maked the rip seats? They look outstanding!

Thanks everyone for the great comments.
Karl the story behind the figures is for is that a small maintenance area has been over runned by iranian troops and tank. I came across this photo and thought of an idea for a bunker scene with some iranian troop running over the defences with support from a tank.
James the rips in the seat are made from every day household aluminum foil. I cut just enough to fold to the under side of the part and tack some supper glue to hold in place. I left most of the foil loose fitting on the top, but the sides were folded flat against the part. Then I took my knife and started to make cuts and rips in the foil why folding up some of the foil.

I have the interior painting almost completed and ready to button up the hulls. The build has been going slower than I would like to have, but I’m trying to get over a cold I had for the past few days now. I’ve finished up weathering and dusting the lower hull and added some crew gear to the model. I’m not going to go too overboard with the engine compartment since most of it will not be seen from the outside. The upper hull I’ve added some wiring and a scratch built como box. I printed out the sadman on my printer and made a frame from plastic strips. I still need to do a bit more weather to the upper hull and add the periscopes to finish everything out.

Crap, I did not mean to print out Yuan Valdez...... Thanks Gary, I wanted to add some life to the vehicle I have notice alot of his pictures on posters, vehicle and painting on buildings. I'm hoping to have everything sealed up in a few days so I can move onto the exterior and begin painting.

This is incredibly awesome Chris! The paint job on the interior is really superb and I love what you are doing with the figures, very creative!
I'm intrigued to know how much of an interior Trumpeter included for the turret? Certainly the lower hull interior is very impressive, love what Trumpeter is doing here!

There are a few area I could improve on as far as the painting goes. I'm not really big on painting white interiors, I have a hard time painting white and weathering it without making it look too overdone.
Mauro here is a picture of the direction for the turret. I mostly use model-making.eu to judge if I want to buy a kit or not. They general have sprue shots with full direction layout to preview.
