Very close to being finished. Here are some in-progress photos of the spent shells and links. The links are about 70 that I found in my stash - from Mission Models. It took three nights to bend them up. The spent rounds are a mix of Mission Models (25) and similar sized brass rod cut to size.

Thanks Rob. Now I am finished w/ the spent rounds. I washed the links in a sand color to bring the out, and I used raw umber on the spent rounds. I added some PE ferns.

Robert, just an outstanding build. I'm really glad I was here from the start to the finish. You must be very proud that your model will be on display where it means the most to those that see it.

The additional trash really does add to the realism of the scene. Maybe add some more ragged trash bags and paper to the barbed wire? You know how it "attracts" all kinds of stuff.
