I built this kit back in 2002 when it came out and right out of the box, what an amazing kit.
Your's is no nice that you have inspired me to gut mine and re do it.
Any suggestions from anyone the best way to remove the acrylic paint, which does have atop color of dullcote lacquer on it?

Thanks guys,i'll paint it soon after i replace the tracks with Masterclub T55 resin tracks,witch are of better details.
Hi Gary,thanks for the reply first,well,i prefer soldering PE parts because it's a much stronger bonding,and it gives me the possibility to bend and 'twist' those fenders and boxs into more natural look without damaging them. though a little bit more effort, it worth it
Hi James,one of my friend once used an ultrasonic cleaning bath to 'wash away'all acrylic paint on his tank,of course with thinner in the bath,quite easy and super clean.

Yes, I agree. Masterclub tracks have really great details. But having metal track links could be better for the weathering process
