Hello, a Cent fan here.
I`ve got quite a few Cents, at least 12 built and 5 in various stages.
Now then i have noticed a gap in the Cent model and conversion market.
With out scratch building there is currently no way to make Cents Mk7-12 or Mk`s 8-13.
What is needed is a conversion to extend the rear hull of the AFV club kits for all of the above and replacement engine and transmission decks for all of the above.
For the 8-13`s what is also needed are the turret changes, ie mantlet, commanders cupola and hatch, main sight and maybe some PE skirts that show the extra row of tie down loops.

What are the chances of this Terry, maybe, possibly or none?

I for one would be interested, and also in the BARV.

I`ve done some of your conversions before so i know they are good quality.
It`s good to see you back in business.

PS How about a set of wheels to help turn the Tamiya Jeep into an Hotchkiss with the square treaded radial tyres?

Regards

Malcolm

Hi Malcolm,

Were you by any chance the guy that had a large number of Centurions on display at Tracks 2011? Would have liked to talk about the models but the person was never at the table...

Cheers,

Christophe

Thanks Mal,

They are just the size of sets I'm looking for. I will see what reference materieal I can get together. I lose sleep thinking of what to come up with next.

Glad to help, Terry.

Toadmans Tank Pictures has some good photos of a Cent Mk13 with good views of the engine deck.
It looks to me as though this one came through the ranks having started life as a Mk8.
You can never have too many Cent models on the shelf.

Hi!
I think I also took pictures of a Mk13 in a stowage area outside of Bovington Tank Museum. Must have been around 1985 or so. Wasn´t it the one with the two piece cmdr`s hatch? (...please forgive me, Cent experts...) Terry, if there is a need, let me know. Also for the 105mm ARVE.

Greetings
Andreas

The mk13 did have the split hatch, I've had a look at the Toadman photos but any material is welcome. I will have a go at the 13 first I think.

The mkIII will be on my web site in the next hour.

Thanks.
