Hi Everyone!
I’ve been busy over the past month working on this little project for the for an online contest over on other model site. This is a “what if” build of placing an 81mm mortar into an American M20 armored car by Tamiya. Additionally it will be displayed towing a liberated German Sd.Ah.52 37mm Flack Ammunition Trailer from Bronco models accompanied by an Alpine figure. Originally these two would be place on scenic base from Mini-Art but given the compressed build time of just 90 days I’m not sure the Mini-Art base will accomplished.
Most of the work thus far has gone into the interior of the M20 converting it to house the Mortar and ammunition for it. The Tamiya kit is rather nice and only minor work is needed to improve the exterior. Evergreen styrene tubing is the major component used for the scratch building.

@sampiero Thanks! This is purely a "What If". But it is interesting to note that even though it is a "What If" I still did a lot of research to ensure that I captured the correct look. What Ifs are a lot of fun!!
@GregCloseCombat Thanks and good to hear from you buddy!
@Tanksami Thanks! I'm working up a little "how-I-do-it"(HIDI)for the sand bags to post here on Armorama vary soon, so keep an eye out for it.
