So here is my finished Jadgpanther 2 cir 1946.
I'm thinking it could be a trials vehicle for the L100 88mm of the E-75 adding a long range-finder.
The hull and suspension of this model came from Cyberhobby's Panther 2, and the rest of the fixings came from their Flakpanzer V kit (thank you very much for the mallet)

I got the look i was trying for but the color came out far too dark.

Nathan, thanks for your kind comments!

More updates:

I applied a coat of Surface Primer of Vallejo, excellent for a best applying of the painting.

I'm humbled by the quality of the builds in this campaign! (But I wouldn't want to take Corsair's JP2 off-roading! That gun just begs to get dug in... )

As for my late effort, I've started a build log here seeing as I'm probably not going to get finished by 25 December, but that's ok - it still got the build going! My "before" pic was posted in a different campaign a year ago, but then I failed to crack the boxes or stick any parts together...

I'm building to a photo from Korea, with the wider tracks of the E9 upgrade (duckbills both sides) and the roof armour, so there is a lot of off-piste modelling involved. The blog will hold most of the pics, but here are a few to whet the appetite:

Tom,

Thanks for sharing, I have never seen (or even heard of) the track forms from Hobby Trax. Checked out their website; it's pretty extensive for 1/35 WWII vehicles. How would you rate using the product, bottom line; was it worth the cost?

Rick

The short answer is yes!
However the qualifications are:
You will need to have a lot of the same type of models to build (I do) so you can spread the cost over many models. Or you and some friends (or club) could buy them and then lend them out like a library.
The other is it really helps if the idler wheel is adjustable so that you can take up any left over slack.

I really like them because I can paint and weather them off the model.

I hope this answers your questions. If not ask a specific question and I'll try to answer based on my experience.

Thanks friend!

I decided to paint it as Eastern Front version. This because some factory yellow hetzers were school trainers and were rushed to the Eastern Front and received a white wash.

My M-10 is done. Would liked to do a bit more weathering but am going away on holidays with the family tomorrow so have run out of time. I used the French decals provided in the kit and ended up with a bit of silvering on some of them. The upper hull in my kit was warped badly as per Tom’s but seemed to straighten up ok.

Rick,
It appears that you did a great job in correcting the warp.

After the holidays, weather it up and post more photos.

I put rust on the other set of tracks, used a different technique for the 85 as apposed the 100. And got pics of them done.

Cheers Rob.

Also while waiting for paint to dry I did this up to help keep track of all the campaigns I am in.

Fellow campaigners,

I’m not going to be able to get my project done by this month upcoming due date so I’m here to let everyone know that I am dropping out of the campaign. I apologize for not dropping by to visit in a while, been busy with a few reviews along with one having a linked build log and a lot of logs in the fire here at home.

It’s been fun and a wonderful experience for me to be involved with such nice and accomplished modelers as yourselves, thanks a bunch!

More updates:

I have checked some color pics and the last Hetzer were applied a sand-yellow too. Now I need to lighten the color with white. Using the same mix I added a flat.yellow XF59.
