Wow!! You convinced me, with this build. The level you take it to is amazing! Next time I'm at my lhs, I'm picking one up. Had planned on building all of Dragon's Panzer IVs, but could do with something else just to break up the monotony. I've work with leds on models, before. I'll use your schematic to wire the IR, or whatever they are. Definitely learning experience. Keep it up.

I really like how you have corrected the tank shape! It looks convincing indeed!
...well in my opinion T-55 isn' t just a tank. Actually it is THE TANK...

The paint scheme color T-90: I use Mr color set, Green color: khaki green 3 + Oliver Drab 1, Flat balck: flat black + german gray, Dark Tan + gray + white
