Loctite super glue and a lot of patience. It took me four times to get it right. That Chieftan camo looks amazing. You are right about one thing, that camo would make anyone carsick. I got queezy when I saw the real thing when I was over there.

Phillipe,
That's looking really nice!
Ian,
Same with that Berlin camo!
Lonewolf,
Really like what you did with the fuel lines.
Well, mines not ready for paint yet, but making progress. You can really tell this is an EARLY Trumpy armor kit. The road wheels have really tested my patience! Here are a couple pics.
I added wire for the turret grab rails (they look okay?)

I taped up the tracks to straighten them out. Hope this works.

Got the running gear all on now and added back the stenghting strips on the hull bottom.

And finally got some work done on the upper hull. Got the engine deck and screens on and those half-moon shaped items beside the turret ring.

Thanks for the kind words Ronnie, Francis, Lonewolf, John and Mark.
Francis----Nice progress on your Chieftain. Glad we have a good turnout of these MBT's.
Philippe----Brilliant work on your T-72. I see you went with the East German scheme......very cool. The insignia is a nice contrast with the camo.
John-----Great progress on your vehicle. Looking forward to the completed project.
I think the T-series Darth Vader tanks are starting to outnumber the Allied vehicles in the thread.....oh wait....they did in real life too!!!!! Hah!!!
I was going to do the touch up work on my Chieftain this afternoon but ended up working in the yard all day so I have no new progress.
Best wishes, Ian

Phillipe,
Wow, that looks great. Love the missing fuel drum at the rear too. Nice touch.
I think you are right too about the grab-bars. I am reworking them and will post a pic when they are all redone and dry.

Phil,
Thanks for the vote of confidence.
Here are two new shots of the turret bars.

Sorry, but it is really hard to get a real clear shot when everything is dark like this. Maybe will show up better when primered.
