I'm painting my first 1/48 scale figures.I've seen other paint-ups which included eyes, but I think they always look huge and out of scale, ruining the figure. I'm satisfied with a well applied wash, highlights,a cooler beard color for the lower face, and some lip color. Ideas? Feedback?

Can you see eyes on a person 48 feet away? Viewing a model 1 foot away is the equivalent.

Steven: I think you are on the right track. As Dave pointed out, at 48 feet away you can't really see a person's eyes. They morph with the surrounding flesh, but a shadow for the socket helps a lot.
