Here is an update on my diorama:
The motor boat has been airbrushed and weathered with pastels. The first epoxy resin layer is in to simulate the water.
Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Hi Garth,
Excellent project and story. The dio is looking grand, will you be adding a figure or two?
Nice work indeed. You should add it to the Great WarCampaign.
Cheers
Al

Nico - thank you for taking the time to look in, I appreciate it.
Alan - thanks for looking yes I may well add it to the campaign. Thanks for the support. Still watching your work with admiration. On the figure front, likely two figures, the man himself, Spicer-Simson and one other doing something useful..
Cheers

Hi Jerome,
That's some neat lttle vignette. Nice setting for the boat!
It's really cool that there is absoluletly nothing to see any more from the bulky side walls of the boat.
Nice job!
Claude

Garth this is a great little dio! I must admit to my failure that I usually limit my viewing of posts to WWII armor, and mostly german subjects at that and have neglected to my own detriment subjects like yours. it is cool how you scratched your boat, a very unique way to model!
I look forward to seeing your figures.
Dave
