That's a nice collection of big guns! Alex, your motorcycles are the only thing balancing the heavy side of the scale lately. Glad you have two of them!

Alex: nice work and a fine scene.
Dani: Great painting! Are the trees decals or did you paint them too? Nice weathering.

Dani: That, sir, is impressive!! Very well done.
Small progress on my Pz. IV. I've pre-shaded the tank. I've also begun work on the Friuls and have completed cleaning 1 side.

Martin: thanks for the comment. Your Marder is looking fine as well. For a moment I thought you had given them Nike's and was looking for the swoosh

Thinking about though it would make a great campaign.

Well done! You may want to shoot some matte clear on those figures based on the photo, but I like their pose. It reminds me of the biggest weakness of the Marder III series.

Thanks Vonhengest, totally agree on the flat matte spray.
What about the figures in the marder series?

I think Von is referring to the exposed crew position in this type of vehicles. I too was going to mention a required flat coat for the figures - very nice work.

You would be correct. They had the misfortune of being very exposed to small arms fire which is why the entire platform was redesigned as the III M, and eventually the Hetzer.

Martin: The Marder and crew look great!!
Tom: nice work. Whose kit is that? Was the suspension adjustable out of the box, or did you hack into it? I had to hack into them on my Dragon kit and have a gap at the cut in the springs. Yours look great.

Martin - The Marder is looking good, I plan to tackle that kit sometime next year.
Zon - Nice work on the preshading, that is going to be a sharp looking Pz IV.
Tom - Like your track Jig!
I'm racing like mad to get all my campaigns done in time. We are having a warm spell so the air compressor is working overtime.
Here is the KV II with the base coat, I have some touching up to due and the tracks are only primed.

I can't claim anything about it other than I use it and it works great.
It comes from a company called HobbyTrax.
Take a look at
www.hobbytrax.netThey are a little pricy, but the forms will last forever.
The only warning I give is make sure the idler can move a little to make the track snug.

The kit is Dragon Pz IV Ausf E Tauchpanzer Kit number 6402.
The suspension are adjustable out of the box. I don't know how Dragon decides which kit gets them. The new Ostwind Kit # 6550 are not adjustable. go figure!
Thanks for the kudos. I hope it looks better painted.

Nathan: thanks for the comment. Nice paint on your KV-2. The color shifts work well.
Tom: Thanks for the info. I'm using Dragon 6360, Pz IV ausf F2(G). I tried to find one with workable suspension, but ended up with this one.
