Ah, a Sherman with a real gun. I've been wanting to build one of these, but have never found the time. Looks to be a very clean assembly. Can't wait to see how you paint her!

Hey Anthony,
That is a killer Sherman. I would love to build the M-51.
What color did you use and how is the build overall? Looks fantastic man!

Fantastic build and that color is what I need for my Centurion. What ratio and what did you use to mix the Lifecolor Isreali Sand UA20 with?
No... more like an outstanding build as I want one too!

I saved a few of the images for inspiration!

Thank you much Jeff for your words.
It's straight Lifecolor mixed with tap water till I got the right constancy to spray.I did filter it with Mig productions P401 ochre for gray sand, then I dusted lightly with Mig pigments Gulf War Sand.Thats it.

Hi Anthony,
fantastic, I see you used a large amount of putty on the barrel and a little on the turret. Are those the problems
on the kit?

Thanks ,Paul, not really too bad,the barrel is two piece,so I just brushed a little Mr Surfacer 500 on it,the turret is also two pieces,so I just cleaned up a light seam again with Mr Surfacer 500

Fantastic work! The "cleaner" builds seem to be a rarity, anymore. Do you have any future plans for this build?
