I was mucking around ebay and stumbled on this
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3152841241&category=2588

Personally I wont bid. But I thought the dio is pretty cool, nice idea, nice base, good use of figures. Worth at least a look.

I wouldn't bet either, but the object looks very good. Nice little dio with enough action in it.

Looks pretty good, but why would you buy something someone else made? not very creative now is it? And why would you sell it in the first place?

I'm with you on that one Golikell - I can see if you were somehow related to the unit and you wanted to have something similar and you weren't a builder. But from builder to builder I don't get it.

I can't imagine buying anything like that on e-bay either... The danger is always that if you sell something like that, up it pops in competitions and suddenly your work is taking prizes for someone else... Trust me, it happens..... Jim

I've sold stuff that I've made on eBay. Mostly it was old early attempts, not show pieces but 7-8 out of 10. Mostly I got rid of it to make room, not to make cash (though I did get 10-15% more then retail, which isn't too bad). I'm not to sure WHY they buy them but they do, the guy I sold my stuff to had a bunch of built model purchases. If he was buying my stuff to win prizes he was a poor shopper, I think some people get caught up in eBaying and waste money.
