Eastern front 1944. The T34 kit is from Dragon. Very nice details with a lot of photo etched parts and an alu gun barrel.
The figures are from Tamiya. The quality is unfortunately bad....it's an old kit. But the poses are very lifelike.
The german tank ist from Italeri.
Don't be surprised at the fire area of the tank. I have reworked it, because there was not enough rust. This is not to recognize on every picture.
Best regards
Frank

Hi Frank. The posing of the red army guys are indeed very nice. I also like your paintwork on the figures. Simple but effective and they hold together like a unit very well. Congrats and keep up the good work.

Very nice. Good composition. I like the idea of having the burnt out vehicle as filler .... balances out the scene nicely.

Thank you very much for the comments.
What I have used for the ground works?
I've better not to say that. You would think I'm a fool :-)
The ground is made of sugar(!!!), gypsum and water.
I've made the masking of my 1/16 T34 with sugar and this became very hard when drying. So I've tested it on a little Diorama. The surface of the ground was very grainy and very hard.
Back to this diorama.
The ground was paiinted in different brown colours.
At that time I've made the vegetation with materials of modell railway accessoirs.
Now I would take fine sand (germ.: Quarzsand) mixed with white glue (Is that right? glue for wood) and water. The same effekt, very hard and a top surface. I've taken this at my dio in 1/16 King Tiger and T34 wreck)
Forgive my very bad english, please.
It looks like sh......
Al last the vegetation was coloured with different green.
Best regards
Frank

Pretty much how I make my round work, although I use fine sand from the pet shop. The cardboard template for the tracks mark is a good idea. I like that!!
