Ahhh I've seen you have made the mistake I and several other modelers have made, the rims are supposed to be painted black, Trumpeter has them in green, but looking at many reference pictures they are black. Easy fix though

Either black or green is correct for the wheels. A replacement rim will come from the supply depot in green. They are sometimes repainted black by the crew or maintenence troopers.
The LMTV is lookig good. Nice job on it so far.

Someone here did have a PDF or color file of water bottle boxes, but I don't remember who. Anybody remember who did that for everybody here? It was on an earlier Special Forces LMTV build.

Hello Friends and many thanks for your comments
If Did you notice my missing of construction for a while? I just had a very busy period so I had not time to touch the model.
But never mind, past couple of days I back to the desktop and already have some progress
So what happened is:
Finally glued all the pieces of the model including lights. Added Decals. I did, wash using oil paint and white spirit. I added some effects using great stuff of the Ak-Interactive, as grease, stains of oil and gas, also add dust ...
So now models looks like this :
In the following steps will add a machine gun on the roof, cargo and other small items ...
Comments please and have a nice weekend

This was the earlier link to an discussion about Arabic labeled water bottle cases and it does give who has that PDF file so you can make your own. https://armorama.kitmaker.net/forums/83290&page=1

Looking good. Do you have any pics from overhead? I would like to see how the ring mount came out.
A 2 1/2 ton truck can carry 155mm howitzer ammo and powder cans, but a lot less tha a PLS can. A 2 1/2 ton truck has a load capacity of 5,000 lbs. I don't have the exact round count that one can carry, but each round weighs approx 100 lbs and each powder canister about 30 lbs. Add a few pounds for the wooden pallets and you should be able to figure out a round figure for a max load. Also of note, each powder cannister has two owder bags in it, so you will have half the number of canisters to rounds carried. There will also be a few fuze cans in the mix as well. They look the same as .50 cal ammo cans.

But I have a dilemma if the 2.5 ton truck can carry such cargo or less ???

Hi Richard,
I would object aginst artillery ammo on the cargo bed for two reasons:
1. The decals you used are from an engineer unit. Maybe you load other stuff like fuel cans or plastic stowage boxes.
2. Arty ammo is mostly carried on M1084 A1 /w MHC trucks. You definitly need a MHC to load an unload the rounds and propellant canisters.
Another option is to put on food and beverage containers as I have often seen it with 2nd SCR. Or you can build a sanitary truck, loaded with portable toilets.
Just my 2 cents
Hans-Hermann

Love your LMTV! The NATO paint came out perfect!
It's no big deal and an easy fix, but hte side marker lights can use a little green paint. Only the lens in the middle is colored. (yellow on the front, red on the rear).
There's a more modern version of the marker lights that are entirely colored plastic, but the ones supplied in the kit are these old style. Your first photo posted of the real thing has the newer all plastic version of the lights.
