I figure that I must have many 1/35 styrene tons of these - figuring about 11 tons-US per, let's say about 250t or so!
I think I have everything "38" ever done by Dragon, CH, Tristar - and even some antiques by Italeri and Alan... 38(t) ausf B, E/F, G, S, Hetzers, Grilles, flakpanzer 38(t), Marders III, H, M, aufklarungs 2cm and 7.5cm, etc. etc. etc....!
So I guess I have something which may fit into this one!
As I'm currently working up a review of the new Dragon 38(t) "S" kit 6435 for Armorama right now, this could be THE time to jump this kit right to the top of the build pile
Of course it would be super nice if this doesn't actually kick off until 2013.

Sounds like a good reason to get my eduard hetzer built, but the problem is that I`ve made a start with that already. I`ll try and post some pics as soon as I get back home, so you guys can decide if it would be ok

Hi James, watch out for the 8.8cm Pak43 Waffenträger from Dragon, Kit Nr.6728. It a real pigs ear. I´m doing it now on the Tank destroyer /SPG campaign.

James I too have heard nothing great about Dragons Waffenträger so i suggest you take a look at Trumpeters ones .. friend of mine has built two of them so far and said he didnt have a single problem and the things pretty much fell together .
If you want a Waffenträger this might be the way to go .

These are cool little kits, I didn't care for the tracks in the 10.5cm leFH-18 so Friuls were used instead. The 8.8cm Pak 43 L/71 trumpy kit is excellent with great indy links.
But for this campaign I'll probably go with a Marder or Flakpanzer, or....?

(various brands from Tristar to Maquette )
A large selection of variants, AA, Artillery versions, Jagdpanzer versions, PanzerJager versions, Aufklarungspanzer 38(t) versions too.
Also Export versions from various contries like Peru or Iran and Switzerland.

Also a good range of Waffentrager's from Alan, Dragon and Trumpeter.
We have enough kits & versions to do 2 or 3 more Campaigns

For a nice OOB build I`d go with the tristar. I`m building one right now and find it a real joy to make. Detail is excellent, PE kept to a minimum and you still get very acceptable toolclamps and such (my biggest gripe with all kits with molded on toolclamps). I`d definitely keep that one high on the list.

I'm down for this, if all goes well i should be back from Astan by next year. I love the 38t chassis and i have tons in the stash but im thinking Tamiya's Marder III M with the K59 detail set that's been begging me to complete it. so when can we enlist

Yes John, I know what you meant as you bring that remark up almost every time. It has gotten old by now so let's drop it.
And my health is about the same as it was just a few days ago as I mentioned I am having surgery a week from today to correct it.
So, sorry I brought it up but I remember your "I'm back" thread as you explained why issues took you away from the Campaigns and was why I did so to explain my possible absence.
Let's get back to talking about modeling... maybe?

This one, John. It really is a wonderful little kit.
I have the Eduard mid Hetzer at which I once made a feeble start, back when my badger 150 still terrified me. Would be cool if it could join this campaign, but I`m not sure if anyone would call this a proper start. She needs an ovencleaner bath anyways...
What do you guys think?

I prefer the Tristar.
Use the Hetzer on the Get'er done Mk3 Campaign, since this one doesn't have the ok yet, I guess you can finish it before the start date of this Campaign...
Those are the Hetzer's from Eduard that came with a full interior right ?

That`s the thing John: that Hetzer is not in a hurry and hardly started. The 38 was already further along when this campaign was first announced. Just needs a finish up to get it to painting stage.
