3-32 Armor "Victory or Death", my old unit. Hard to believe we painted our tanks in that scheme once!

The US Army camo in Europe from about 1973 onwards for a few years was just gawd awful! Luckily, 2/4 Inf as well as the 56th FA remained that solid semi-gloss OD, and many, many coats of that they were too.

kkeefe,
Ditto on armor in Germany in the 70's.My first assignment, was on M-60's in a company that had 2 A1's / platoon. Some were painted just like Andreas example, with some reddish brown stripes too.And some of the plain M-60's were still the semi gloss OD. (++) (++)
