Hello ¡¡¡
After some time "missing in action", I´m back with more advances of my "old" diorama.

The ground is almost done, only to finish a couple of coconut palms, some details and the water in the rice paddy.

Still things to do like detailing the figures, the hootch and so... and the helicopter of course...

Thanks in advance.

More news soon.

Santiago

Hi Santiago,

Your udpates on this one are kind of rare, but everytime there is it's realy worth the look. The overall look describes exactely the vietnam nature and housing. Your dio is a gem, no doubt, and you definitively should put it in a feature !
eager to see some more progress on this masterpiece.
Best,
Julien

I remember your older Vietnam dioramas and loved them all. This time it seems you are going a step further. Excellent nature... can't wait to see the water on the rice paddy. Please, keep us updated.

I did some more pictures with all the figures and the helicopter in place, just to see how they look together.

Cooments about how it looks are welcome.

Nice! I remember you finished the figures some time ago, and I thought the helicopter was finished as well? With the crew and door gunner figure as well? Do I remember correctly?

Hello Mario, you remember well about the pilot and doorguner, both are finished time ago. The cockpit of the helo is mounted too, but unpainted. Still to do the external body, front chin and rotors ...

Sorry, I´m a lazy modeller ...

Not lazy, it's just that real life gets in a way sometimes, eh?

Looking forward to seeing the rice paddy completed.

Awesome diorama Bravo! If I can say one, Ihave just a hing to point out: The boy on the cart seems to be too relaxed compared to what it is happening on the scene.
Compliments

Thanks, and about the relaxed guy in the chart, check the beer bottle in his hand and the beer bottles box beside him (almost empty...). That´s the reason for his "cool" look in such a dangerous situation.

Happy modelling.
