Hi Dudes,
This is Luchs Part IV, Done the camo, tomorrow move on to detail painting, decaling and weathering. God, I love three tone camos... of course not as much as ambush patterns, mind ya.
And Lord 2 Parts Grenade, Lens application will start tomorrow as well. Cheers

Dave, very nice camo job.
Really, I love the spagetti camo, great airbrush skill.
Lots of weathering potential,
Andrew

Looking good so far.
What paint did you use?
One small point: On a picture in part 3 you can see some plastic on the back of the axe, were it was attached to the sprue. It's still easy to remove it before detail painting starts.
Great camo, have fun with the detail painting and weathering.

Why not make the whole plane out of the same material the blackbox is made from?

Coming on nicely Dave. The weathering is almost started as the camo looks nice and grimy. What green is it you have used? It looks almost black in the photos. The mesh sections look really neat now when its painted. Will be a stunner when finished!!

Thank you for your kind words, the paint I am using for this camo scheme are all from Tamiya, and the tank is primed with tamiya hull red.

Lord Lens:
Those pe grill covers look really really good on this one. The build and paint job is very crisp---this is good stuff (as usual I might add)!!
Question---the spagetti camo---can it be applied any way the modeler desires, or are there prescribed rules of thumb that must be followed?

Lord 2PG,
I think the spaghetti pattern is really random, so you can apply however you want, I think the key is not to make the spaghetti to thick, or it becomes Lasagna pattern, and also make it criscross a lot me think.
As for the lens, yeah, I fancy to find a bucket to cover my lens, any tips?

Question : Do you always paint the tools i.e Spade on the tank together or separately?

Looking good Dave, the camo pattern looks real good. I think i may even be able to do that because it is so random.
