Nice review Robert, great explanations and it sounds like a stellar piece of kit.

@ Matt
Thanks for putting the review online.
@ Karl
Thanks. Glad you like it. It is without doubt a really good airbrush. And one I will use with great joy for the coming years.

Thanks for the good review Robert, nice to see something other than an Iwata getting a good review.

Ola paul. Yes it is an amzing piece of kit. In the past i have sprayed once with a badger from a friend of mine. I think it was a 150 or a 250? But the sotar is really in a different league.

@Paul
The last five reviews dating back to July of 2012 for airbrushes were all Badger, all positive. This includes not only Robert's high end Sotar 20/20 review, but a Patriot 105 and the Renegade Krome separately, and a dual review of the pair.
The main reason is that companies will generally give samples for review in bunches, at least from what I've seen. This never precludes someone from reviewing a tool, supply, kit or aftermarket item they have purchased for themselves.
I own two Badgers (Badger 100 almost as old as me, and a Sotar), an Iwata Eclipse HP-CS, a Paashce H and a Grex TG.2. All of them work great, some better than others, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend any of the group based on the paint requirements needed.
I will agree with Robert's conclusions on the Sotar 100%. It's a great brush, and Badger's quality and customer service (at least over here in the US) have always been top notch.
