I'm looking for a 1/35 US Dozer, or a dozer blade for a sherman. Any suggestions?

Talking about 1/35th scale dozers, Resicast has released a Caterpillar D7 :

Construction Battalion makes a M1 dozer :

and Calibre 35 makes a smaller Clark CA-1 airborne dozer :

IIRC Trakz made a 1/35 blade for the Sherman and it was pretty decent. Verlinden also does one, I'm not sure if it's still in production. I've built the Trakz kit and it went together well for me, but they're OOP and hard to find.

My copy of the Verlinden M1 dozer blade for the Sherman is a bit rough, with odd lumps of extra resin where the moulds are damaged. (Mainly in corners where it'll be a challenge to clean up neatly...)

The Academy blade on their M4A3 is at least plastic, and although the details are a tad simplified it can be easily upgraded. The only issue is that it is a scale 4" too wide, being a compromise between the M1 at 128" and the M1A1 at 132" to fit the wider HVSS tanks. But it's hardly noticeable.

The Resicast conversion is pretty sweet - fits M4 and M4A4 suspension lengths too.

Well is that a resin kit or is it scratch built?

Thanks for all your replies, guys.

The Resicast one is very nice. Its hyrdraulic lift tube has a shield but the Resicast one is too thick. Not difficult to replace however. Also, if you wish to display the dozer blade off the ground, you need to replace the lower part of the tube. Again, very simple to do. Overall, I think it's a great item
