Hiya Colonel,
I am the semi/quasi-official importer for Europe for the TankWorkshop. They have great stuff and I've been dealing with them for several years now. Larry Provo of the TTW is a great guy, but is slowly turning the reins over to his daughter. They haven't produced many new items, but they have a fine standing range.

I'll add my inconsiderable weight to the conversion question. I come done in favor of grabbing any of DML's M4A4 kits and doing the dimensional corrections that Mike Canaday has posted on his web site, for both the hull and the turret. I've done it to two kits in process, and it really isn't difficult. Much easier than trying to convert an A3, which would really require a scratch-built upper hull. Angles are all different; the A4 is longer so the hull sides have a different taper, etc. I'd stay away from going that route. The individual link tracks for the DML kits are a formidable challenge, however. I'm trying to make Accurate Armour resin length track work instead. Yeah, some guys like 'em but I think the indy links are a bit too fussy to deal with on a Sherman since track sag is virtually unknown.

Jack--interesting. Have you made a Sherman using TankWorkShop's waders? I am interested in finding out how they go on and look.
thanks again

Hi all,
I find this very nice Sherman at Modeller Site. It deserves a look.
Sherman M4A3 with Soft Armor (Sandbag)
I can't make the link straight to it, so you must go to Archives-Armour.
Anyone knows if the conversion kit from Resicast for the Duplex Drive it's still available ? Or any other manufacturer have a similar kit ?
