Hi all
This is the model I'm currently building:
And here is the vehicle I want to represent:
It is a vehicle from the Pz.Rgt. 15, 11. Panzer-Division at
Kursk, July 1943
And here is what I did so far:
After cleaning and drilling the 240 links the result worth the effort, check it out:
That's all so far! Any comments and critics welcome!

Not much to say so far,it looks good, the sag of the tracks.I did the old Imperial Series DAK Panzer III,those tracks sure were tedious, but the result is good.

Personally, I like Magic Tracks. This probably stems from how much I hate the vinyl ones. You've done an exceptional job on them!

Hi Matt! Thanks for the compliments!
However, I wish they were the Magic Tracks! They are the first version of LBL from Dragon, came all on sprues and a lot of work to be done.... but like you said, the final result is great!
More updates to come (I'm only working on it during weekends!)
Cheers mate!

Hi all
Here are some update on my building.
I've built the upper hull and also the side fenders.
But the biggest improvement at this stage was the weld seams on the armour plates at the back.
This last photo shows the left hand side rear fender, I'll need to open this hole.
That's all so far!
Any comments or critics welcomed!

The tracks just behind the first return roller don't seem to line up.

Hi Paulo. As the others have said ... the tracks look really good. Did you drill out the lightening holes in them individually? This wasn´t really necessary .... the solid tracks could be used along with the later models.
Those early Dragon tracks were the "bees knees" once upon a time. Ive built this particular kit twice ... once as a M model and once converted/backdated to a J model ... and once you get the hang of building them, they work easy enough. They look great in place!!
Good luck with the rest of the build.

Thanks guys for the feedback!
I'm happy with how the tracks looked. I didn't know that I could have left them un-drilled, but the holes did a bit os improvement on them.
I'm enjoying to build this model. More updates soon!
Cheers mates!

The only thing I see that needs to be fixed is the spare wheel. It should have a very sharp line separating the rubber from the hub. The weathering is exceptional! I also like the camo. You must have had fun drilling the lightening holes. Hey, it builds character.

Great build Paulo. I like your paint job. Only thing that I would do different is a little paint removal of the brown colour from the chain hanging on the front right side of the tank. The paint looks as if it fills the chainholes.
