Arrty fans:

Im looking for any referance material on the Flak 39 105mm. All I have is 3 photos. If anyone has a link to a walk-around or any printed material, it would be greatly appreciated. I plan on scratch/kitbashing a German 10.5 cm Flak 39 w/ carriage. The trailer that transported this piece,
was the Sd Ah 203. Im hoping to convert or bash either a Tamiya or Trumpeter Flak piece to finish the project. Any help would be great!!!!. Thnx in advance.

Would be nice to find one for the collection, but I do have a round from one. Muller's "Heavy Flak Guns" has some good pics (some of which were just posted!) but the 38/39 has been somewhat neglected, just like the American T3 105mm.
Is there a kit out there of the Flak 39?

Here's some WWII era b/w photos. Maybe this will help some. Good Luck on your build

Cory;
Thanks for the quick response. Wow, what a piece. I didn't think it was that different from other Flak units. But it is deffinately constructed a lot different than the 88's. Maybe I wont be able to kit-bash one as easily as I thought. Thanx for the pics.

Beats me why the Germans didn't develop the 105 Flak into a Pak, similar to the 88. Probably would have been a more effective tank/antitank gun than the 128.

Great pics Sosebee -- but the third pic is a 8.8cm Flak 18. I had the resin Airmodel kit at one time. I'd say it's a good base for a superdetail job. I ebayed it off b/c I knew it would never get to the top of my "to do" pile.
