Hi guys-
This is what I've been up to that last few days. The model is Academy's M-10 GMC, with RHPS T-51 tracks, and eduard etch. This is for the TD group build, but will also find its way into my trench dio.
I've been trying to get this thing to the paint stage so I can get my PzKpfw IV underway for the RMG campaign (and the "workhorse of the Reich" build).. hehehehe.
I must say that this has been fun so far - my first piece of allied hardware since I was a kid. Pretty cool working with green plastic for a change
Anyway - comments and suggestions are always welcome. Let me know if you see anything that needs attention - (i'd like to know now, before I paint the sucker.... lol)

Jeff--this looks very solid. I recently did the AFV M-10, and your Academy looks just great with the pe, (that rear screen shot is pretty cool). You've done a nice job on the detailing.

Damn! I've got the Academy Achilles in a similar state of preparation, difference is that I have built it OOB completely. Yours is also somewhat furher on than mine, I spent virtually 2 hours yesterday wrestling with the ammo racks. I think there is a difference (slight) in the paint schemes, from what I can gather, the interior of the Brit. version is white (torret interior is O.D.) As i'm planning on going on with the TDs next one will be a U.S. M10 with the turret roof armour although the M36 Jackson has somewhat grabbed my attention.
Looks really nice though, the Eduard set seems to add quite a bit so I will get it before I do the next M10. Jim

jimbrae... funny you should mention the ammo racks.....
Those little suckers were a pain... I had a HECK of a time getting all the tubes to stay put when I added another one.... I ended up glueing them in place as I added each one. I'll have to figure out something different for the next one, that's for sure.
I think the M-36 will be my next Academy purchase I like these kits

Looking very nice so far jrnelson! I really like the addition of the Eduard set.
The only thing I can see that may need just a little attention is in the third pic. The ammo rack on the left side, directly above the canteens, the top round looks a little "cock-eyed". Could just be the picture though.
Couldn't agree more!
