ICM just keeps going from strength to strength with news of a German G917T (1939 production) in 1/35th scale in the works and scheduled for release in 2013.

Well....

Pretty cool to see yet another softie come along! Not that I actually know anything about this particular vehicle - don't even recognize having seen it in pictures of, say, the Poland, French or early Russia campaigns. But then I've certainly seen only a tiny slice of those pics - I'm sure it was there!

I'll expect that this could be a pretty good basic kit, given other productions by this company.

But, on a slightly carpish note... OK - another small-mid-size German truck. There are a lot of desire for softies out there - I didn't know that there was a lot of clamour going for one of these... How about filling in a 4x4 Blitz or a new Horch 15 car, etc.?!!!

The good thing about the Ford is that it was used in large numbers, capture from the DAK, by the British and Commonwealth forces in North Africa and by the Finns in both their wars against the Soviet Union

Widely used by Germans in all campaigns as it was manufactured by Ford Germany before the V3000. It is also quite similar to the 817T (1938) also widely used by nationalist in SCW:
