Here is a project I have been working on slowly. My life has taken a turn that has not allowed me much time for modelling so I am trying to squeeze it in when I can.
The 1/35 HobbyBoss 152mm ShKH Dana vz.77
Some detail work in the main cab
More main cab
And more main cab
The inside of the upper cab
The main gun with lots of added detail
Lots of added detail; cables, bolts, etc.
More detail of main gun
Engine reworked some
Right side mid hull
Left side mid hull
I am still looking for information that is contained inside all the compartmentalized tool boxes along the back side of the hull. There are several tool boxes that are very compartmentalized on the inside. Curious as to what is usually stored in these small compartmentalized sections.
Thanks for looking, feedback is always welcome.

Wow, that is really nice. I have the inside shot of a Polish Dana that has a computer monitor on a swing arm. I am not sure if they all had it, but if you would like a picture to scratch it, send me a PM with your email

A little update.
I have been working some on the interior of the turret itself. I started with the left half.
The left turret interior wall. The gun will be on the other side of this wall. the front is to the left.
Courtesy of the Wings And Wheels Publications book on the Dana.
The console in the left front corner and the console from the center front wall. See the following photograph.
Again courtesy of the Wings And Wheels Publications book on the Dana.
Any comments welcome

Hi Cory,
excellent build so far. I really consider getting me another DANA kit, now that all the AM goodies are out. If only one would release a good metal gun tube....

Hi Cory,
if you check your references carefully, you will notice that the hydralic rods that stabilzize the gun are angled slightly to the rear. I did that on my first build and found it quite easy.

Are you referring to the two support rods on either side of the gun cradle? I will look into this thanks.

Hi Cory,
don`t get me wrong, I am referring to kit parts C22 and C25 and P13/P18. These could be better named as the hydraulic rods tha push up the entire vehicle and have the same function as the spades on the M109 gun. I hope I explained that correct.
Cheers

Here is an update on this build. It has been a slow build but fun. This is the biggest scratchbuild effort I have ever tried and so far I am happy with the results. Any comments are welcome.
This is the turret so far. Both turret halves are are held on with magnets so that the shells can be removed to see the completed interiors. I have scratched the interiors thus far.
This is part of the interior of the left half of the turret. The shell cases are on this side of the turret. I will be adding more cases when they come in.
Here is the other side of the left turret half. The only thing I have to add on this side is the seats. They are finished, but just need to add them.
This is the right half of the turret. There is not much in the crew section. I still need to add the seat, some cables and some control boxes. The big open space in the center is for the shell carousel.
Here is the beginning of the shell carousel. I have PE for the shell holder to add to the posts. Just haven't got there yet.
Any comments welcome. I am enjoying the build and still have a lot to do.

Thanks Marco. Unfortunately, I will have to start over on the shell carousel. I completed my plans wrong and the actual shell cradles don't quite fit on the supports with the arrangement I have here. The paths are too close together and don't allow the cradles to find on the racks.
Oh well, it's not to difficult, and my new plans appear that they will work, at least on paper they do.

OK, so here is a little update to the shell carousel. I redid the plans to make everything fit better and this is where I'm at now.
I went a little insane and made a replication of the drive train that moves the carousel. All I have left to do now is to add the individual carrier frames and then install it!
I know this wasn't much new, but as always, any comments welcome.

Wow, that's great to get a compliment from someone who worked on the real thing (albeit a different version). Thanks!
The carousel isn't quite going to be accurate, but it will be close enough for me and I'm happy with the design.

Hello all, bought a new computer so I can start posting photos again. As promised, here are a few update pics. These are all in the primer stage so paint is coming soon.
Here is the shell carrier. I am happy with how this turned out. Can't wait to get it painted and put a few shells in it.
Left side of turret with primer.
Interior of left shell under primer
Exterior of left shell under primer.
Gun assembly inner turret.
Right side turret, inner wall.
Interior of right shell. The shell carrier from above will sit in the middle of this.
ZZ-73 Sight. Goes in the left turret.
Another view of the ZZ-73 Sight.
Please leave any comments, criticisms.
