have been watching this thread closely, as far as im concerned, any new kit that hits the market, always has someone griping about its problems no matter how minimal they are. As Mike said earlier on, lets all just be happy that we are getting these great new kits on the market, I know I am, especially these modern subjects, very happy!!
As for your build, Its looking great, and from what Ive seen, its very well done for out of the box. Cant wait to see it completed and weathered, keep up the great work.

Good to see your progress with this build, Olivier.
It would be nice if you could provide us with some more infos about the last stages.
What was used for weathering? I personally would add a little more redish tones to the dusting effects.
Was there a problem with your decals or did you use a mask for brushing? On the front plate it seems to be not accurate.
cheers
Walter

Hi EVERYONE;
((((( AWSOME JUST AWSOME ))))) NICE JOB OLIVIER.
UN White vehicles are in my view a nice change of pace away from the Camo thats prevelant these days.
The Mono-Tone all one color is hard too paint and not look Toy like, i painted my Tamiya Le-Clerc in UN White serving in Lebanon.
CHEERS; MIKE.

I agree with Mike here- white UN paint is difficult to do (and I also did a Leclerc in UN white in Lebanon!!) and this has turned out exceptionally well with fantastic mud weathering- great stuff Olivier!

thanks !!!
To dirty white, i use Tamiya "buff" and "brown" was diluted 80-90% with alcohol
After drying, I spend "Neutral wash" Mig ,"rembrandt" pigments as well as the essence F
I repeat these operations until the desired effect is obtained (at least 3 to 4 times)
By choice, my version has errors that I have left as is: the front plate with the add-on armor, the basement.
My personal opinion:
the +:
The price!
It looks like a VBCI!
Quality plastic
Adjustments almost perfect
Interior for opening some doors
Format of the box and rather nice illustration
the -:
Without marking wheels (not due to Heller)
Representation Galix and ECR bags (although useless on the version proposed)
Nets RPG-net
One version of achievable
more minor:
Indication of paintings "multi" color scheme with a Separate sheet
What I would have liked:
The luggage rack "standard" instead of eight FAMAS
Two protective grilles for the headlamps
The possibility deco UN 2012 Gulf and Central Europe.
A + for the M1151 and the RG-31 ...

Hi Guys;
Just a Lil OT,-- When looking at the VBCI it seems odd that they put the Coax in a seperate module on the R side of the turret and not next too the Main Gun Now maybe its just my Lack of Knowledge, the Smoke Mortars would have been on the Outside or where the coax is. ( Reversed )
- OH WELL, FOOD FOR THOUGHT !!!!!
GREAT JOB OLIVIER,- ANOTHER MASTERPIECE.
CHEERS; MIKE.

Let wait for the AM for the wheels and PE guys for the RPG net
Hmmm.... AM companies are obviously not interested in making
more that wheels and towing cables. A shame.
