This is a picture of the first of many of my steampunk army. It is mostly done, and it is in 1/72 scale.
Edit: how do I post pictures? I couldn't submit it to the gallery, and I couldn't use a url, either.

I would suggest using Photobucket.com
Up load your photos, go to the photo you want to post, copy the 'direct link' and add that to your posts.

The picture needs to be hosted on line to use to have a permanent address. It can't just be pulled off your computer. Like Christopher said, Photobucket is a pretty easy way to do it. If you don't want to sign up for it, you can always use your gallery space on this site - though honestly it's more of a pain to use.
Hurry up and figure it out! I want to see this!

Why can't you submit it to the gallery?

Hi glomscient
You have a very interesting conversion there!
Maybe you could show us some more of your steam punk army?
Also are they for a war game or do you just convert them for the fun of it?
Dan

Thanks, Dan! I am thinking about possibly making a wargame for them, but for now they are just a project. Here are some of the other things I have (old pictures, most are still accurate, though)
Mortar for "sky marines". I am thinking a white and gold scheme for the sky marines, who will be transported to battle aboard zeppelins made from various boat kits.
Crater. I found this idea one day on the internet. If I remember where I found it (unlikely), then I will put up a link. I took a metal bottle cap, hit it in the center with a ball peen hammer, then glued sand to it with white glue. Again, not my idea.
Sherman. This will be for the command platoon with the lee, and probably another sherman. I want to add a cowcatcher to the front of it; like the one on the sherman, but less fancy. Still needs much work done.
Hummel (with an "enhancement "). I need to paint this one. I am thinking of tidying up the part with the boiler, too, as it needs to have less gaps.
This is a machine gun team for the regular troops. Yes, I based them on quarters. For the non-heavy weapon infantry, I used pennies. It is, ironically, probably one of the cheaper solutions for basing.
Panther ausf G. This paintjob is not mine, I just got it in a trade, and have yet to paint it. I did add the boiler, however. As with the hummel, I need to work on the gaps.
This is an unmodified revell 1:87 (close enough) "Big Boy" 4-8-8-4 train engine and tender. I am thinking of making an armored train to go with it.
This is the army's commander. His hat is aluminum tube filled with squadron putty, with a feather on top. I still need to paint him; he will probably be in a similar scheme t to the Lee.
and this is his unpainted staff car. Yes, those are panther wheels.
Finally, I have a wirbelwind. I am actually figuring out stowage right now. I replaced the boiler for a smaller one, as the one in the picture stands out a bit too much.
I also have a messload more tanks, even more infantry, and some others that need a lot more work. This is going to be a really long project!
