Greetings, it's been a while since I've last posted anything. I've been wanting to break the silence with a tease of my current project. This WASP Universal Carrier variant has past the 1-year mark a few months ago. August 2011 was the start date of this project.
I love the challenge of scratch building. I've been pulling out all the stops since the beginning. I purchased a Resicast kit to update the old Tamiya kit. I thought that this resin kit would save me some time here and there while improving the kit... Unfortunately, the quality of the castings have been sub-par. Most assemblies of this aftermarket kit has had to be modified or scratch built all together.
The bright side is that I'm incredibly pleased with the results! I aim to write a feature article for posting onto Armorama's front page. There, I will go much deeper into the process and include many more photos of this epic build.
Thanks for viewing, I appreciate any feedback.

Cool guys, thanks for the kind words. This project is 98% finished. I've scratch built many stowage items. This is my task now. I'm hand-painting the stowage with Vallejo Model Color. After a few more pieces of stowage I can then paint and weather the exterior of the kit. Here is a cool photo of painting some stowage. Unfortunately, quick snapshots such as this can't capture what our eyes can.
