Great looking T-55. I think the canvas cover is one of my favorite parts, catches my eye everytime I look at it. I really like the streaks from the visor cleaners. Great overall build.

Good luck with the show Dave, really nice build mate, i really like the canvas cover over the mantlet, can i ask what paint and colours you used, its very realistic.

Job well done Dave ! The weathering is subtle and doesn't turn your tank into a piece of rust as it is too often seen when it comes to former Soviet block armor.

I would be very happy, if I won silver! I'd be happy, if I won bronze. Learn from this one and grab gold, next year.

Don't get too down on yourself Dave. I've seen a definite improvement in your stuff at each show. And that's what matters. Judges have bad days or see something you missed or whatever. Do a quick double-check on the judge's math though...

Hey Dave,

Don't let the judges get you down. The comments or lack of comments is what it is. Silver is an honor at any show so take it and move on to the next one. You have come a very long way in the time that I have known you and each one of your builds is better than the last so just keep on building. By the way, I think your T55 is awesome!!!! That is worth gold!!!!

Later Dude

Congratulations on your win! The tank looks great.
Gold is declining in value on the international market anyway

Dave- many congratulations on your silver. Also- don't let not getting the gold get to you- I've yet to win a Gold at a show but I always enjoy getting any sort of recognition whether its just a compliment from a show goer or some sort of prize. No matter what though I always see what the judges thought and then use that and other peoples commments to improve my work. In the time I've known you on this forum I can see your work has improved immeasurably and I have no doubt it will continue to get better and better. Again, congrats on the silver and don't let things get you down too much !

Flawless build !
I love the weathering and track color.
Very believable build.
That will do well in a show. At least in
an Indy Regional show.

Cheers
John
