I see in this months FSM on page 12 internet hobbies has a Pz3 with infantry for sale is this the old kit from the 70's or is it the new tooling with new figs? as there seems to be 7/8 troops on and around the tank ?

Well it seems to be some new figs they look quite good

From what I've read, this is the new Pz IIIL with a new metal barrel that has been combined with the old 1975 vintage Panzer Grenadier set.

Those are definitely the old Pz Grenadiers figures. Nice poses, but not up to snuff.
Yet another Tamiya moneygrab. Like boxing the nice new Soviet Tank riders with their old T34.

Why couldn't they make a bunch of new Pz Grenadiers?!! That would have been cool.

Yeah, I have the old panzergrenadiers kit. IIRC the parting line goes right down the middle of the face on several of the guys. Really a pretty dated kit...
