I know that are sometimes issues with Dragon Kits, but usually it has to do with their instructions. What seems to be the problem?

What exactly is it that is annoying you about the kit?

The part I'm looking forward to is glueing hundreds of guide teeth to the eight DS track bands, now why did they go and do that ??

It makes it look more accurate, so there's that. To be honest, it goes a lot faster than you'd expect, especially if you only do half of each track run. Probably took me about an hour all told. One nice thing is that the sprue attachment is on the portion of the tooth that goes into the track, so cleanup is optional.
The suspension is a real pain in the rear though, very fiddly.

Of course, if it was a simplified kit with minimal pieces and no moving parts, it would be tossed in the garbage by someone else for different reasons! You can please half the people half the time, and the rest of the people the rest of the time, but you can't please all the people all of the time. The suspension, although fiddley, is about 75% of the model. Once that's done the rest is pretty fast.

Dragon can take the fun out of modeling. Especially the tracks, and the instructions. Why cant they include the vinyl tracks along with the link tracks, this way you have a choice.

Lou R means including a choice of tracks with every kit requiring them, not just the subject of this thread.

If you have never built an HVSS, you're in for a long haul with it being a DRAGON kit. If you have then you're set.
Now attaching guide teeth to the DS tracks? That just makes no sense at all but I still plan on getting one anyway.

Don't know why there is all this stress.
I just finished the suspension on my T28 & started in on the tracks.
The suspension doesn't move much and is very stiff but, using a minimum of glue it does move.
And the tracks, just repetition.
Problem I'm having is getting the on-hull and sponson attachment points to line up.
Rearranging the assembly to get most of the bottom done so I can use the sponsons to align their on-hull attachment pairs

Ye Gods Another One ?....
I`m building their M1 Abrams SEP and it`s a nightmare too !,it`s being built along side two Tamiya M1`s (a 105 armed early version and a Gulf War A1,an Italeri version with the resin engine and an Academy kitbashed Sgt York Turret/M1 Hull and they`re all nearly finished !.
With the Dragon kit i`ve only just gotten to the turret - over-engineered or what ?!

I despise dragon. I would rather help you design some fiendishly cruel yet deserved end for the kit and pledge $10 Australian dollars tO your PayPal for photos of its demise! I m think time lapse pics of the sprues floating in a bucket of acetone or som aggressive to styrene product...
