Perfect Scale Modellbau has added a number of new products for the Leopard 1 which judging from the pictures look excellent. The new products are for the Leopard 1A1 and 1A5.

Dear Darren,
Direct from the barracks: the PZB 200 is an item to simulate the sound of the gun shot during exercises in case blanks are used. It also generates smoke, as after a ' real ' shot. These effects, sound and smoke, do form an extra training step for the tank's crew, since the smoke hampers temporary the clear sight.
All together: it is a training support device and absolutely not seen on leopards in crises areas.

Hi Paul,
Sorry, but that's wrong. the PZB 200 is an image intensifier for night fighting.
Cheers,
Olaf

You win! To be honest: I am an artillery officer, just believing anything my cavalerie opperwachtmeester (OPC on a Leo 2) tells me.

Kudos for releasing more Leo 1 stuff! That A1A1 turret certainly looks nice.
The PZB's protective frame seems a little on the thick side though. Same for the front cover door. It would have been best represented with PE IMHO.

Cool stuff as always. One thing though, why solid turrets? The A2 turret used the kit lower turret part and thereby provided a hollow turret. I Think that is a better solution.
