I wouldn't say 'amaturish', Richard; it looks fantastic. What did you do for the 'rubber' armor? Looks like sandpaper doubled over on itself?

"Do it Yourself" rubber armour is impressive. Love these home made solutions.

Great work on the armor. You may want to venture into filters. I'm not sure about the Confederate flag?

Richard, I know what you're talking about. I salvaged some of that stuff from an old binder I had as well.

Yeah a lot of people use coffee can lids for fenders. Haven't seen an exhaust cover made of foil yet though....

Very nice looking model, Kuklinski. Very interesting version of the T-55

@Tiger_213 - I did it once on my IT-28 Bridgelayer. Enables realistic damage if needed

Fantastic job, Richard. I really like the "rubbber" armor sheets; I've never seen that before. It's an interesting version of the T-55. Very cool.

Richard I am not sure what filters are made from but they are applied with a brush and they help blend colors very slowly usually a few coats I use MIG productions filters I do not know if anyone else makes any hopefully this answer's your question on filters

confederation flag is quite common here on balkan

coming from former confederate territory, I am very curious why the confederate flag is used in the Balkans - just because it was available but currently unused, or is there some other reason (Dukes of Hazard fans???)?

racism, ignorance and mostly stupidity i would say...
some think it's bad ass but 99% of them don't know what i means where it comes and so on...
mostly it was connected to football hooligans as many of them were in war,
same as shouting against England while having British flag in your club colors on your side...
doesn't make sense i know..
croatian club Hajduk from Split has to pay couple 10.000€ of penalties every year because Torcida uses that flag on stadium
they say they use it because club color is white but what does confederate flag had to do with it? they used it in Yugoslavia.. without problems...

one of Delije (serb) top boys explaining how they are going to sing some chetnik songs as provocations on derby Dinamo Zagreb - Red Star Belgrade 1990
big fight with police, derby never played few mounts after that real war started...

Very nice. Not only do I like the look of the rubber - the way it's weathered to look dusty around the edges looks spot on.

something like that yes, but main goal was to make you feel like you have a bigger pair of balls

not as many as we would like but some photos can be found, type: "balkan armor / oklop","srpski / hrvatski T55", "T55 guma / rubber" and so on..
