Hi folks! OK, as title suggests, I'd like to know your opinions as to whether or not the newer Tamiya offerings of these two tanks are superior to the older, but very nice Dragon kits. (I recently acquired the newer Tamiya kit of the Jagdtiger, and was not that impressed, believing the Dragon kit to be better detailed.

The Dragon IS-2 and ISU-152 are the old kits from the early 1990's. They lack detail and historical accuracy. They kind of crudely molded too.
Tamiya is the best way to go here. And whatever details it's lacking you can always add some yourself, agree? There is no law against it

the dragon kits suffer from hull height issues that are a bear to correct if you want to be ultra accurate.

Interesting. I would have thought the Tamiya kits might not be as nice. Thanks fellas,

The hull height was fixed in the Orange Box re-issue, but the other problems are still there.
