Was the M1A1 AIM ever equipped with a mine plow? I've have exhausted Google and Yahoo, with only a couple of possibilities. The tanks I found were listed under a search for "A1A1 AIM", but I think they were just M1s.

All M1s can attach the plow. I've used them on M1, M1A1, and M1A2 SEP. The power connection differs a bit but the plow is the same. On the M1 and the A1, you had to remove a vision block to feed the power cable through and plug it in inside the drivers hole. On the later upgrades of the A1 and the A2s, there is an external plug near the drivers hatch.

That helps a lot! Another question. Is the Tamiya or Trumpeter plow better? And, is there an am plow out there that I don't know about?

Tamiya plow is better/best; Trumpeter one is a copy but a lot more clean up and doesn't fit as well. There's the Dragon one too but it needs more work than the Tamiya one.

Concur... I have done the work on the Dragon plow and it is extensive. Save yourself some time and effort and use the Tamiya one. It even comes in a kit with the M1A1 attached to it...
