Robert, thanks a bunch fella!

On the jack block i use a very sharp dark brown color pencil and draw the grain on then seal in with matt clear for further washes. You can also draw grain on the tool handles but is much easier on 1/35th tools. On these 1/48 tools especially the axe, i coated lightly with brown oil paint in let sit for a bit then used a fine tip round brush and clean spirits and carefully remove oil paint till i leave the pattern you see. Hope that helps fellas.

Hello Gary,

That is s stunning little Tiger, I really like how you have modulated the colour. Perhaps in 99 years when I have completed my Tiger it will look this nice.
