Looking good! Might as well get all the track threads together.

there seems to be some shininess with the figs. You might want to hit them with the dull coat. And those "antennae" on the fenders are actually distance indicators -- so the driver would know where the extreme edge of his tire/fender was.
Thanks for the history on those antennae, didn't know that.
Yeah I think the figs and helmets are a little glossy too, ill knock them down a bit with Matt.

I wouldn't say calling it a Hanomag was a "mistake" although it could be considered inaccurate. Hanomag was the designer and the other firms were licensed manufacturers. I doubt the average soldier would say "Head to the SPW"...much like a US soldier wouldn't say "Hey hop in the 1/4 ton general purpose truck" . I don't doubt the 251 was sometimes referred to as "Hanomag"...maybe some wartime documents will come to light one day.

Nice build, like what you did with this kit. I built at least a couple of them in my lifetime. Never could get all the road wheel to line up properly but they were fun to paint and weather. I like your figures. The only thing I would do would be to add some "dirt/dust" wash to the helmets and "clear flat" to tone down the gloss.
Thanks for taking us down memory lane.
Take care,
