Thanks guys. I just wish the interior shots came out better. I might have to reshoot them. You guys really need to see the Royal Models detail for the interior.

Your actually not going to believe this SGTREEF, but it only took me a couple of weeks. My co workers at the hobby shop I work at always wonder how fast I turn out finished models. Almost every week, I put something new in the display case. And the thing is, I have a full and part time job, and I am in the Guard. Where do I find the time. Who Knows!!!

Saw quite a few boxes of this kit on the shelves last weekend along with some M1A1s and HAs. Looks like DML rereleased this one after Iraq. They're selling for a whopping 9 USD each. SARS sale I'm getting a few this weekend.

I built this a few years ago, too. As I remember, the rocket box had some problems lining up square and the glazing templates were not that accurate. If you pla on showing it, replace the mirror mounts with wire. Other than that, it was a relatively decent built. (Way better than the Scud.) :-)

RE: Eduard
Rob and all, I think the Eduard sets were on sale at Squadron since Eduard is re-issuing new and updated sets for many of the older DML kits.
The differencee between the old and new Scud interior sets is amazing. One tiny fret 8-10 yrs ago, 2-3 full sized ones now.
WOW!
Check their site (www.eduard.cz) and search MLRS
My only gripe is the amount of 'carve away this' in some of the newer sets.. I didn't need stiches after the 50cal accident, but almost...

Hi guys,
I got the DML kit with rocket pods from Hobby Link Japan earlier this year, and just bought the all new Eduard MLRS interior set (about 1 week direct from Eduard to the UK), the new set is fantastic, loads more interior than the old set.
My only gripe with the kit is that my example at least has some very warped pieces, cabin back wall, rocket launcher sides etc. At least all the warped pieces are flat and easily rectified/replaced by plastic sheet. The tracks are full of injection marks on my kit too.
I intend to finish it as a Desert Storm, Royal Artillery piece any one know of any good references ?
Happy modelling

Got my MLRS with rocket pods! If I can only have one PE set what would be the most recommended?

I've read through the instruction sheets and some interior parts are labeled "Type A" or "Type B". What do they mean? Is "Type A" the Desert Storm version and "Type B" the Euro version?

I tried to buy it but I think not yet cause I'm building the SCUD from the same manufacturer, Dragon. Pretty nice to be build but I think it would have ill fitting parts like my SCUD.

It definitely has a lot of parts. Some say that the fit of the MLRS kit is better than the SCUD. This kit is most likely a reissue and there are bits of flash all over the place. I haven't taken a very close look at the sprues yet so I can't give a more in-depth personal account. This has got to be one of the heaviest kits I've ever bought and the box is filled to the brim. Give me a year or two to finish it

Better fit? Gee, it may motivate me to buy one here y'know. What years to do that? That's quite too long y'know!
