Hi Guys!
Currently building the M1070 and getting close to finishing the cab interior.
I got ET model's interior set with resin radio with two phones, and some sort of onboard computer (screen only). I was wondering if anyone might have info on how those devices are connected to the cab. Where do the cables go?
The devices can be seen on this picture:
Any pictures would be really helpfull! thanks in advance!

Hi Boris
The screen is part of the Blue Force Tracking system (a.k.a. FBCB2-BFT). Here's one fitted to a Humvee :
but I'm afraid TM drawings may be hard to find online, as it's a "sensitive" equipment
Anyway you can take a look at this earlier BFT-related thread on Armorama :

Boris, there are two electrical connector terminals which could be where the BFT cable can possibly be connected:
One is located to the immediate left of the slave cable receptacle on the top of the doghouse (passenger side). These two are found at the front end of doghouse, almost underneath the dash panel.
The other is located on the right rear vertical wall of the console, which sits on top of the doghouse. Again, there are two connectors, the power connector (closest to the rear of the console) and, to its right, another slave receptacle.
From what I've seen while going through all the HET-related TMs, there wouldn't be any hard connections with the wiring harnesses behind the dash or under the doghouse. The radio/BFT mounts are installed with rapid (relatively speaking) installation and removal. I know that was the case with primitive AN/GRC-160, RT-524 and KY-57 Vinson equipment inside our tracks, 5 ton trucks and jeeps back in the early 80s.

Disregard that bit of incorrect information, Boris. Upon closer examination of the Dash 24, I saw that the large receptacle is for the STE/ICE cable and the object to its immediate left is not a connector at all. It's the "On-OFF" switch for the STE/ICE system. sorry about that.

Thanks Joseph! great explanation. BUT I have no clue what you mean with all those terms. What is a doghouse for example ?

That's the large rectangular box between the the driver and passenger seats. On top of that, there's another box with three access panels on it. On the driver's side, there is a panel with circuit breakers. On the right (passenger) side of that box, toward the rear corner, there are two receptacles. The larger one is for a slave cable; the other, to its immediate left as you look at it, is a power connector. Here are some pictures:
The connector I'm referring to is located near the lower part of the picture, on the vertical wall facing the passenger. You can't see it, though.
