Here's the box art image.

An if you still want the resin kit, it's still out there.

Well, they announced the Toyota pickup, the Russian "Tiger" and the D9R at the same time... and since they already released the new Toyota pickup, then a month later released the Russian "Tiger" kit, then the D9R could be right around the corner!

I am still waiting for the Merkava 3D with the mine rollers here in the US. Nobody seems to have it.

Holy brontosauras burgers Batman!!! I'm been waiting to see a styrene kit of this vehicle, for four years. It just made my #1 must buy. I'm thinking it will be my birthday present to me.

Stevens just received this and the AUF 1 on Thursday, so it should be out into the shops soon. Not cheap though!
Thanks!

I don't think the Tiger has been released yet, Lucky is still showing it as a pre-order.
Thanks!

I guess when I said "released", I meant they were shipped out already.
Hobbyeasy shows the Tiger coming in on May 6th, and their dates are usually correct, give or take a day or two.
So, I hope the D9R isn't that far off. Maybe after a month or so?

You really should crawl out of that cave more often Captain, this is old news.

According to a post by Michael Mass on IDF modeling.com the D9 is due out sometime in May. I'm hoping we'll hear more news from Shizuoka come May 16-19.
Oh, and while yes the resin D9 from Vajra is available again, I'm not sure why anyone would want one at nearly $200 USD each when a new styrene kit is due out soon.

The price tag is about the same that you would have to pay for a resin
1/72nd scale one !!

Indeed. I have seen the resin 1/72 kit and it looks amazing... I was very much tempted but the price was just too much.

I'm glad the price is reasonable.. I was actually expecting a higher price
Now, I just need things to cool down here so the post office will reopen and I can order one

The price is very reasonable for such a long awaited kit ! This is great news for modern modeler's, and a proper reason to finally finish the M1070 !

Best of luck to you, Hisham. From what I have seen of the goings on, over there, stay safe. I hope that the current government can be renovated to a more acceptable model.

Just pre-ordered the D9R. I want to do a build review. I'll have to order my second, for a campaign.

God! So true! Mine has been languishing for over two years. I keep getting "if you aren't going to finish it...". If DaVinci had the same level of support the Sistine Chapel ceiling would have had popcorn texture instead of a mural. Anyway, my current excuse is I am uncertain as to how best weather it. What's your excuse?
