Hi,
I am building the Tamiya SAS Land Rover at the moment & have managed to get hold of a 1/35th Carl Gustav anti-tank weapon to go on as part of the stowage.
I need to put together some projectile cases but dont really know what they actually look like.
I've tried googling it but have been unlucky with my search.
Can anyone help, please?
My dio will be set in the early 1970's so a case from this time period is the one I need.
Thanks for your help!

Joe.

Here is something. My own memory from my (swedish) service is pretty vague but I remember something looking sort like that in the picture. Dunno if it's legit for 70's SAS tho...

Edit:

Here is another decent picture...

UK seem to have produced their own ammo. Check this thread:

Did the CG come with its carrying case as well?

The Norwegian is basically like the Canadian one. Just add some webbing straps to her. We use to fill them up with sand for training purposes and throw them on our rucksack.

What kit is your 1/35th Carl Gustav and where did you get it?

Hi Todd,
I bought mine from an internet model shop called Modellbau-Konig in Germany.
The company that makes the Carl Gustav is called Firing Line & here is there contact: [email protected]
It comes as a 2x weapon set in white metal. You get the Carl Gustav & also a Blowpipe.
Hope this helps.

the case for the british is canvas sides with a wooden board for the base, that the CG fits to,
the top and bottom of the case have carring handles and a strap to connect them together across the top of the CG,
the top cover folds over a flap from the other side and has three straps across the top of them to close the pack.

I was fiddling around with my Photobucket account and realized I had this photo of my stash in Iraq. Hope it may still be useful as apparently photos of the containers aren't easy to find.

Since you're building the Tamiya Land Rover, you may want to check Legend's new Pink Panther sets. I just realized each comes with ten Carl Gustav rounds in their containers.

Hi Rob,
Yeah, I'm still waiting for mine to arrive from Lucky Model!
Have you got yours already?
Where did you buy yours?

Joe.
