Brief was simple
If we had used the Ford AA truck just like the Russians with the Gaz AA
what would it have looked like if it had been built
in Dagenham in England
first thing i did was put wider wheels on it in the same arrangement as a Gaz AA
The wheel master was made using a 6 spoked Italeria Studabaker truck wheel with
a ford 5 stud pcd in the center
this widened the rear track so i widened the cargo bed by 2 planks to cover the wheels
and put on typical british style rear mudgards
the bumper is ment to be the military version
the hinges had to be skined off the tailgate and repositioned
and it was done as right hand drive
the weight is the same as the Gaz
was a great kit to build
and i enjoyed it
