Great work so far I would paint the figure satin black for helmet and overalls. Check to see if his mask is hanging in front of him ?

Today I completed the figure. Minor repairs are necessary (for example the crewman's boots), but it will be the final version.

Too bad there isn't a 'LIKE' button for us to click on. I'd press it several times! The light weathering, the base and tree PLUS the figure. Awesome work!

Looks like all the joints between the armor plates and the roof are the main trouble areas. I have this in my stash too for several years. Needs a lot of putty and probably replacing the rivets with Archer's.

Thank you for the kind words!
As for the filling and rivets: I used a lot of putty also, but I was not in mood to replace all the rivets.
By the way the turret roof was the only inaccurate part, with the side plates there was not this problem.

Archer rivets are convenient in that they come in rows and strips so you don't have to add them one at a time. But after looking at their catalogue, all the rivet sheets are in O scale, and really too small for a 1/35 A7V. However, their smaller rivet sets would be suitable for a 1/72 Emhar A7V which has the same fit problems.

Would it help to score along the roof main panel lines and bend each end of the roof section downwards slightly? Maybe then the roof will line up better with the tops of the wall panels.

Thanks for the info, I did not know these rivets. According to truth, I did not want to "overcomplicate" this build.
As for the roof: the bigger problem was that the roof plate was twisted in compared to side plates.
