Well, I could probably be convinced surprisingly easy to buy a T-44 as well. . . What is amazing to me is I think we're at the point where there's a better than even chance that we'll see an IS-7 in plastic. Man, if you'd told me 5 years ago we"d be seeing an IS-4, T-90, T-80U, Object 279, and so on in plastic I would have said that you were either a dreamer or nuts. . .

IS-4 was never given to China or any other country.

That does look nice. I will have one pre-ordered the instant they show up for, um, pre-order. Ya know, if Trumpeter surprises me next with an IS-6 I won't have any Soviet tanks left on my scratchbuild list. . .

Good times!

Woe is me! Please, PLEASE Mr Trumpeter - if you're going to bother with this then surely, surely a T10 (A & M) must be of equal worth??!!

Of course, I must concur with my esteemed colleagues, a T44 as well please!

(perchance to dream)

PS: Yes,I know I still have my Navigator resin kit to make!!

Wasn't it JS-7 and JS-8 was a prototype of a T-10?

EDIT: I belive I saw a built example of the Trumps IS-4 in a corner of one of the photos from the recent model show in Japan... It also had a Renault R-35 in the other corner as well IIRC...

EDIT2: Found it on a hobbylink japan facebook page:

JS-5 was the first prototype of T-10, but it was only at paper. After the WWII had been made few JS-8 and after tests and modernizations this type of tanks was taken at the army as JS-10. After the death of Stalin it was called T-10.

JS-7 is an another tank from another creator...

But I'm interested, when are they going to sell the kit? This tank is not very interesting for me, but I need it's tracks))) I'm building Panzershop's SS-15 and it should have tracks from T-10 (which you can see at JS-4 kit). Hope, Friulmodel will make them and it will no need to buy this kit and copy all the tracks from there...

The design lineage of the IS-4 to T-10M tanks is VERY convoluted. Very.

IS-8 is essentially the precurser to the T-10.

IS-7 and IS-4 were competitors for favor, that switched back and forth.

Great catch of the IS-4 at the show...
