Hi Guys,
This is my finished Italeri 20' shipping container. When I first saw it I wanted to do a heavily weathered and well used one.
Paints are Tamiya and Vallejo. Weathering was done with the enamel weathering solutions and pigments from Mig. Decals are a combination of the kit decals and some from the spare parts box.

Great looking Can . Thanks for the review . Glad to see internal detail , always a problem on other cans I've worked on ( HO scale ). How about checking out model Rail Road decals to detail the container , lots of sizes , company names & logos .

That is exactly the way such a container should look. Congrats for this very decent work.

I can honestly say this is the first of these I've ever seen built! Excellent work, the weathering is very convincing.

Thank you guys,
It is a great little kit. goes together with no real problems and is a great chance to experiment weathering techniques on.
I really hoop the aftermarket decals come soon.
Cheers,
JW

It would look right at home at any construction site I worked at. Lovely weathering

Excellent build-up. May I ask, what are the dimensions of this container when complete? Having trouble finding that online. I'm making a container ship (1/35 sci-fi... about 3 feet long) and would like to add a few of these to the deck. Thanks in advance!

JW,
Are you sure you didn't photograph a real container and photoshop it to look like a model!?? Superb weathering!

Thanks for those refs. Should come in handy. I just hope that the kit is the exact reduction (waiting on mine to arrive) as we all know kits are not always scaled properly. ;-)

I just got my two in the post and put them together. (about 1.5 hours of work for the pair) For anyone else wanting an exact measurement of the kit itself, it is:
Length: 6 3/4"
Width: 2 11/16"
Height: 2 7/8"
You can do the metrics. ;-)
