Building a Trumps enhanced armor version. What is the tanks actual color green, and suggestions for a paint that would match as well as a lighter tone? Tamiya, LC, or Vall.

Thanks!

I'm not certain but I thought all new NATO vehicles were supposed to use the three color NATO standard. It was though that way an enemy couldn't easily identify a country or unit simply by its paint scheme. Perhaps this practice when out the window as the Cold War doctrine when away.

No, only a few countries adopted the 3-color NATO camouflage and the UK is not one of them. The base green color on Chally 2 is however a NATO green.

I use Tamiya's Field Gray for the green on modern Brit vehicles.

I use dark green 2(RAF) XF 81 as the armour green for late 90+,
the green use to be darker on the old matt green IRR paint, so before 90s I use JA green XF13.
lighten both with buff for highlights.
